The Hippie Chicken Farm is always bursting with the most beautiful, fresh blooms, and the quality is outstanding. Their roadside stand also has the most yummy berries and veggies all summer! Their online dahlia tubers are just as impressive—healthy, well-packaged, and true to variety. You can really tell how much care and passion goes into everything they grow. Highly recommend for flower lovers and gardeners alike!
The tubers I received were well wrapped and preserved for spring planting! They turned out absolutely beautiful.

I love this farm! I purchased dahlia bulbs from them last spring. The bulbs were in good shape when I received them, and the dahlias were gorgeous for months as they grew over the summer. Hippie Chicken has a lot of varieties and they’re easy to work with. I will definitely be getting more from them to add to my garden next summer.

Last year I stopped by the Hippie Chicken Farm many times. Each time I was impressed with the quality of the food and the effort that was made to produce a superior product. Nothing purchased from the market can even begin to compare with their fresh produce. I also came home with two dahlia tubers. Never before have I grown a dahlia. I very carefully followed the instructions, placing the tuber in a large baggie of soil, eye side up, and being very conscious not to over water. They both came up!
When they were ready, I planted them and trimmed them several times to encourage a fuller plant. The red tuber grew taller than I am, the yellow one about 3 feet high. They bloomed all summer long and into late fall. Both show stoppers! 🎉🎉.
From now on, I will always have dahlias in my garden and look forward to trying out some additional colors and varieties. I am hooked!

We have nothing but great things to say about The Hippie Chick Farm! They have the freshest eggs and the blueberries are huge and tasty. We bought ourselves a dahlia bulb to try out our green thumbs. This was the first time we grew dahlias and the flowers were big and the colors were beautiful! We can’t wait to replant our bulbs this year and we plan to revisit to do more shopping.
